The Case of the Stolen Goodies - Review
It was such a great game to do with my students. They really enjoyed it. They got really invested and engaged with the story and the puzzles, which is always great. I did have some issues with punching holes into the trapezoid shape (in Challenge #3) with my hole puncher, but I fully admit that it could be user error haha. I loved Challenge #9 because I could change the items when I needed to. We aren't in America, so my students don't know what a dime is. I was able to use some dice instead and it worked well. Anyways, thank you for a great resource. I will use it many times in the future!
The case of the stolen goodies
The kids (especially the older ones) really enjoyed figuring out the clues. Overall it took a little over an hour for them to complete. This was a fun and team effort Party game!
The Case of the Stolen Goodies
This is amazing! Love the idea to keep kids entertained.
So creative and effortless!
What a fun game of "whodunit"! The clues are so colorful and engaging! No effort required, just print and cut out. We put each clue in a brown bag from the grocery store so they looked like evidence bags. Lots of fun and looking forward to more creations from the Queen of Theme!
This project took some time to put together, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I am just blown away at the level of creativity that has been put into the puzzles. I used it with my 5th grade class. The class was split into teams and they had to race to the finish. Well, they couldn't get it done in the time allotted, so they will finish the race tomorrow. They are loving the challenge. We have so many favorites. The one that stood out the most was the tangram with hole punches that revealed letters. The toughest one was the rice and penny, Challenge #8 (I even did the modified version and used less rice). I purchased two more activities after getting feedback from the class. It builds classroom connections and drives a sense of healthy competition.
kids loved it, I loved it.
Really good pack and good value for money. My kids were only just 8, so I switched up some of the games to make them a little more physical (they had to fish for the letters with a string and magnet rather than find them in a rice bottle, and pop balloons to find code letters), but I’d definitely buy another....
Lots of Fun!
I set this game up for my parents, husband, and 10 year old daughter and everyone loved it! The game definitely made them think, but they were excited to solve it at the end.
We had a get together of about 15 missionary kids ages 7-16 and used this game. It was a hit! My 16 year old daughter was the host and was able to organize it all and set it up. At first while reading the host directions, we felt it might be too hard or too much work. But once she got started, it was very simple and not too much time. The kids loved the game! It kept them busy for about an hour and a half and they were sad when it was done. Highly recommend giving it a go!
Go To For Event Fun!
As always, love the packet! Everything included with detailed instructions and tips! Everyone had a blast!
The story was very exciting and a lot of fun. These people really know how to get the audience involved! I would definitely do this again.
